Op 12 mei 2024 vond de prestigieuze British Academy Television Awards plaats in het Royal Festival Hall in Londen, waar de beste prestaties in de Britse televisie van 2023 werden gevierd.
De serie The Sixth Commandment en Top Boy waren grote winnaars van de avond, elk met twee BAFTA-onderscheidingen. Timothy Spall, Sarah Lancashire, Jasmine Jobson, Matthew Macfadyen, Mawaan Rizwan, Gbemisola Ikumelo en Joe Lycett waren enkele van de gelauwerde acteurs en actrices in verschillende categorieën.
Een speciale BAFTA-onderscheiding ging naar Lorraine Kelly voor haar buitengewone bijdrage aan de televisiewereld. Daarnaast ontving barones Floella Benjamin de prestigieuze BAFTA Fellowship, een erkenning voor haar indrukwekkende carrière.
