De 49ste editie van het Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) heeft de volledige line-up van Gala’s en Speciale Presentaties aangekondigd.
De line-up omvat 63 films uit 25 landen. Onder de films die hun wereldpremière maken, is het door Angelina Jolie geregisseerde oorlogsdrama Without Blood. Ook te zien is Hard Truths van Mike Leigh en The Last Showgirl van Gia Coppola. De openingsfilm van het festival is Nutcrackers met Ben Stiller en de slotfilm is The Deb van Rebel Wilson. Cate Blanchett zal geëerd worden met de TIFF Share Her Journey Groundbreaker Award.
